**Role Summary:**

The Quality Assurance Lead will work closely with Marketing, Commercial, Product Line Leaders, Product Managers, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Projects & Services and component / systems engineers to develop, implement and govern the Integrated Quality Management System strategy across the Onshore Wind business globally.

**Essential Responsibilities:**

You will develop and deploy QMS processes to ensure ONW has a plan to meet customers commitments by understanding industry quality standards, interacting with internal & external customers and tracking leading indicators.

As the Quality Assurance Lead, you will:

+ Coach and mentor teams on the Integrated Quality Management System with emphasis on Quality Assurance and associated underlying principles, approaches and methodology to all levels of the organization

+ Develop, implement, and monitor overall Onshore Wind Business Quality Management System for quality improvement purposes. Standardize processes, tools and methods

+ Teach and mentor the teams with application of QMS processes and associated tools (Lean Six Sigma, RCA, DFMEA, DFSS, Process Mapping, SPC) with focus on prevention and risk mitigation

+ Develop and govern the New Product Introduction (NPI) and New Technology Introduction (NTI) Quality plan to ensure fulfillment of internal and external requirements

+ Ensure robust sequence of NPI & NTI activities into the Integrated Program Schedule to support reliability targets

+ Translate NPI & NTI activities into functional activities with timing to meet specified standards

+ Develop and ensure continuous QMS improvement through lessons learned and prompt deployment to minimize risks for future programs

+ Simplify and develop key quality indicators to measure, outline report format and frequency

**Qualifications/Requirements:**

+ Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college

+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality

**Desired Characteristics:**

+ Black Belt or Master Black Belt Certification or equivalent quality certification

+ Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control (DMAIC) or Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) experience

+ Prior Renewable Energy / Wind business experience

+ Strong leadership & organization skills especially in matrix environment

+ Renewable Energy Black Belt or QMS Leader experience

+ Familiarity and experience with Technical Regulations and Standards

+ Experience to Lead groups / people and work well with various leadership levels

+ Proven track record in the Power Generation business

+ Demonstrated project management, organizational and planning skills

+ Demonstrated problem solving experience

+ QMS / process management experience
