Cross Domain Analyst, Senior
Key Role:
Serve as a Trusted Solaris and Linux systems administrator and maintain responsibility for the daily operations and maintenance of unclassified and classified IT systems, including Trusted Solaris 10, RedHat Linux version 6/7, and CentOS 6/7 operating within a trusted multi-level domain guard environment. Work as part of a dynamic team to keep systems maintained and optimized through daily, weekly, and monthly patching, upgrades, and tuning when system maintenance is required. Perform day–to–day operations and interface with internal and external clients to support system operations. Contribute to and maintain operations documentation, including configuration data, change requests, installation procedures, knowledge base articles, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), engineering diagrams, and test plans.
Basic Qualifications:
-3+ years of experience in building, deploying, and administering Solaris 10 with Trusted Extensions or RedHat Linux 6/7 as a primary operating system
-Experience with using ticketing systems, including ServiceNow and Seibel
-Knowledge of Solaris Trusted Extension and Trusted Routing
-Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take polygraph exam
-HS diploma or GED and 6 years of experience with IT, AA or AS degree and 4 years of experience with IT, BA or BS degree and 2 years of experience with IT, or MA or MS degree
-Current Information Assurance (IA) Certification, including IAT II, such as Security +, CISA, GCIH, GCED, CISSP or Associate, or CASP and IA Certification Category and Level, including IAW DoD 8570.10–M and BBP 05–PR–M–0002 or obtain within 60 days of hire
-Current Computing Environment (CE) Certification, including Solaris 10 Administrator or RedHat Linux Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or obtain within 6 months of hire
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with using VMware, Splunk, Solar Winds, SELinux, and DSView
-Knowledge of Linux iptables, Apache 2, PHP, Java, Sendmail, Solaris iptables, Solaris zones and Logical Domains, Solaris Trusted Routing, networking configuration, and DNS
-Ability to develop scripts in Python, Perl, Korn Shell, C Shell, or Bash
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with is required.
