Job Description:

Bennett Aerospace is seeking a highly motivated Computer Systems Support Specialist, Level #. The successful candidate will directly support the US Army Sustainment Command within a team environment providing technical user assistance, and troubleshooting support in a Windows 10/Active Directory environment.

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned

+ Perform remote and touch labor support to Windows operating systems, hardware and peripheral support; to include initial configuration.

+ Replace failed hardware using warranty support services provided by the vendor.

+ Deploy pre-configured system images to new hardware.

+ Use installation trouble ticketing system (Remedy); or facility provided equivalent.

+ Perform SharePoint/Website content management using approved tools and techniques.

+ Operate and serve as facilitator for VTC and SVTC systems; to include desktop video conferencing software.

+ Provide network assistance and troubleshooting to installation Network Enterprise Centers as applicable.

+ Perform malware detection, elimination, prevention, and reporting using approved tools and resources.

+ Recognize a potential security violation, take appropriate action to report the incident as required by regulation, and mitigate any adverse impact.

+ Set up new users, including both account configuration and initial training and orientation, and account creation when necessary.

+ Implement and monitor IA safeguards for system(s) in accordance with implementation plans and standard operating procedures.

+ Comply with system termination procedures and incident reporting requirements related to potential security incidents or actual breaches at a desktop level.

+ Implement applicable patches including information assurance IA vulnerability alerts (IAVA).

+ Assist the Telephone Control Officer (TCO) with administration of the phone system; to include cellular devices and smartphones.

+ Maintain documents and processes for hardware lifecycle replacement.

+ Assist Telephone Control Officer with TCO duties. To include, VOIP phone installation/placement, mobile phone device configuration and setup.

+ Prepare reports, instructional guides, system documentation using professional writing techniques.

To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:

+ 2+ years of experience with helpdesk, hardware/software support.

+ Must be able to certify at DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technical Level 1.

+ Must have Security+ CE and Windows 10 training (SkillPort accepted).

+ Must have a current, active Secret clearance.

+ Must have excellent interpersonal/communication skills and technical writing skills to provide exceptional customer service.

+ While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to handle; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, bend, crouch or crawl.

+ The employee must also occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds or more.

+ Must have a valid driver’s license.

+ Technical certifications, such as: MCSA Windows 10, A+, Network
