**Public Works Director**
_We are actively searching for qualified candidates for thispotential opening\. We do not have assurance at this time that the position willbe opened and when\._ **This position is contingent upon contract award\.**
## RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Responsible for the full scope ofengineering, maintenance, operations, and quality management programssupporting the Navy on PMRF\. The PW Director shall ensure both prime andsubcontractors abide by program, contractual and industrial standards/bestpractices, where required, which meet the contract requirements\. The PWDirector will administer Public Works program\(s\), having full authority andresponsibility for assuring performance objectives and standards are met\.
+ Responsible for the full scope ofengineering, maintenance, operations and quality management programs\.
+ Ensure both prime andsubcontractors abide by program, contractual and industrial standards/bestpractices of the Contractor's/subcontractor's Public Works program\(s\) forassuring performance objectives and standards are met\.
+ Responsible for providingfacilities engineering and construction services, building maintenance andfacility services, environmental planning, stewardship and remediation support,electrical, water, and wastewater utility services, base vehicles,transportation, and other Public Works services\.
+ Manage Planning, building andmaintaining sustainable facilities\.
+ Ensure delivery of environmentalservices, utilities and other base services\.
+ Ensure Recyclable Waste materialare transformed into new products in such a manner that the original productmay lose its identity\.
+ Refuse all garbage, ashes, debris,rubbish, and other similar waste materials\.
+ Ensure sanitary and cleanconditions to include odors, rodents, scattered or loose solid waste are notpresent, trash containers are not overflowing to include scrap Metal Materialsuch as aluminum cans, ice boxes, refrigerators, deep freezers, ranges, bedsprings, sofas, water heaters, water tanks, and all free from organisms\.
+ Perform additionalresponsibilities as required\.
**Qualifications**
## QUALIFICATIONS:
### Education:
+ Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering,based on a four\-year course of study from a U\.S\. accredited college oruniversity or equivalent institution\. Must be a registered professionalengineer licensed by a U\.S\. state or territory in Mechanical, Electrical,Civil, Industrial or Structural Engineering\.
### Experience:
+ A minimum of 10 years ofexperience in a as a manager in a multi\-discipline environment comparable tothat offered under this contract\. Experience in a military environment isdesired\.
+ Diverse experience in managingextensive Public Works projects
+ Knowledge of Engineeringprinciples and practices
+ Excellent organizational andmulti\-tasking skills\.
+ Excellent written and oralcommunication skills\.
+ Computer proficiency in MicrosoftProjects, Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word

+ Must be possess or be able to attain a SECRETclearance at the start of contract performance\.
