Guest Service Agent - Hotel Business - Honolulu District, HI
Key responsibilities include:
*Punctuality, arrives at work on time, professionally dressed ready to work
*Answering phones and using computers
*Providing information to guests about hotel policies, services and amenities.
*Responding to requests from guests for assistance and information about the local area (e.g. directions, places to eat, etc.).
*Selling rooms to "walk-in" customers.
*Entering/changing reservation information on the computer system.
*Posting charges to guest accounts.
*Processing payments from guests.
*Making necessary corrections to guest accounts.
*Communicating effectively with Operations about room status/availability.
*Requesting changes to the housekeeper's cleaning schedules
*Listening for and responding to guest concerns.
*Routing the appropriate parties to respond to guest complaints, or concerns.
*Creating and closing work orders as necessary to address guest complaints.
*Maintaining daily logs.
*Closing and balancing all room accounts.
*Making adjustments or corrections to accounts as needed.
*Completing various computer audit reports.
*Ensuring the front area is clean and presentable at all times by tasking the appropriate parties and/or taking the initiative to ensure this.
