Summary About the Position: This position is located within Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC) in the department of Pathology, Honolulu, HI. Tripler Army Medical Center is a tobacco-free workplace. Responsibilities Perform duties primarily related to specimen receipt, handling, preparation, processing and shipping and result reporting to remote laboratories. Inspect analysis request to ensure that all information is complete and accurate. Check status of supply orders to reports findings to other lab staff. Verifies goods and services provided and processes invoices for payment. OR Education: Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree, with major study or at least 24 semester hours in subjects directly related to the position. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of education beyond two years (total semester hours minus 60) by 60.
