Our work depends on an Operations Analyst joining our team to support the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) activities.
At GDIT, we foster a people-centric environment. As an Operations Analyst supporting CMS, a typical day will include:
+ Providing technical support and troubleshooting for web-based applications
+ Supporting the development and enhancement of visual aids to improve early detection of infrastructure anomalies
+ Screening, referring, and diagnosing internal/external inquiries and work requests as they relate to support of related systems
+ Applying diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes, and recommend solutions
+ Improving the performance of existing and new monitoring tools
+ Analyzing help desk tickets and metrics to identify opportunities for improvement
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
+ Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Business, or other related discipline with 5+ years of relevant experience.
+ Proficiency in scripting with Python, Perl, or shell
+ Thorough understanding of fundamental internet protocols, such as DNS, HTTP, TCP
+ Hands-on experience with various website/infrastructure monitoring tools, specifically Splunk and NewRelic
+ Experience with tools such as Grafana, InfluxDB, and/or Prometheus
+ Experience with configuring and customizing AWS monitoring and alerting services, such as CloudWatch, SNS, and CloudTrail
+ Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation
+ Strong understanding of networking protocols
+ Experience supporting highly available/high volume internet-oriented production environment
+ Experience working with Agile methodologies, DevSecOps or DevOps, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD)
+ Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance and must have lived in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
+ US citizen or a Green Card holder
+ Active SAFe certification(s)
+ AWS experience using AWS FedRamp or Mulesoft Anypoint Private Cloud Edition (PCE) for control plane
+ AWS System Administration or other AWS certification
+ Health Care Industry or CMS experience
+ Experience with Enterprise Portal and Enterprise IDM
+ Experience with MuleSoft Anypoint platform and MuleSoft Runtime
+ Experience with Salesforce GovCloud
+ Experience with Confluent Kafka
+ Experience with JIRA and Confluence
