Founded in 1938, Wilcox Medical Center is a not-for-profit medical center dedicated to providing the Kaua‘i community with accessible quality health care. The largest medical center on Kaua‘i, it is a state-of-the-art acute care facility with a full suite of services offering 30 specialties and programs, including cardiology, emergency, family practice, gastroenterology, health management, internal medicine, neurology, OB-GYN, oncology, orthopedics, pediatrics and urology. The Ambulatory Surgery department provides a wide array of surgical procedures and care in an outpatient setting. Patients requiring attention for medical conditions that can be treated without overnight admission to a hospital are attended to by our team of general and specialized surgery professionals. We offer state-of-the-art technology, comfortable surroundings and health care staff who are skilled, knowledgeable and sensitive to patient's needs.

As a Registered Nurse in our Ambulatory Surgery, you will have the opportunity to provide direct patient care and support to physician staff within the Ambulatory Surgery environment. You will be responsible for the Ambulatory plan of care including nursing assessment, documentation, and assisting the anesthesia provider, with an emphasis on patient safety. You will also take the night and weekend call. We are looking for someone with strong patient care and communication skills, willingness to work in a team-oriented atmosphere and a commitment to our vision of delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai'i's people.

**Minimum Qualifications:** Current Hawai'i Registered Nurse License. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) CPR cards. One (1) year recent acute care Registered Nurse experience.

**Preferred Qualifications:** Two (2) to three (3) years of acute care Registered Nurse experience in Intensive Care Unit or Post Anesthesia Care Unit or Emergency Department experience. Knowledge of EPIC charting.
