Sr. Internal Auditor - Robert Half Finance & Accounting (Hawaii)
Description
Melissa Tree with Robert Half Finance and Accounting is assisting a local company in filling an Internal Auditor role.
Duties for this role-
Execute on financial and operational audits, and assist in IT audits under supervision and guidance from supervisor
Documents business processes and evaluates the adequacy of internal controls through review of written procedures, interviews and audit tests
Occasional site audits at our distribution centers, warehouses and store locations
Collaborate with other groups inside and outside the organization (Finance, Operations, and external auditors)
Function in a highly professional and confidential manner, maintaining independence and objectivity from the areas audited, in compliance with internal auditing standards and ethics
Requirements
Requirements-
Degree in Accounting/Finance
5+ years of audit and accounting experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Strong analytical skills
Certifications preferred- CPA, CIA, or CISA.
