**Job Description**
Founded in 1921, Straub Medical Center includes a 159-bed hospital in Honolulu, a network of neighborhood clinics and a visiting specialist program that reaches throughout the state of Hawai'i. With over 200 physicians who are leaders in their fields, Straub provides its patients with diagnoses and treatments for more than 32 different medical specialties, including bone and joint, heart, cancer, endocrinology/diabetes, family medicine, gastroenterology, geriatric medicine, internal medicine, vascular and urology. Straub is home to the Pacific Region’s only multidisciplinary burn treatment center. The hospital consistently brings new technologies and innovative medical practices to Hawai'i, such as minimally invasive cardiac surgery and total joint replacement.
The Security team provides security, information, directions and escort service to patients and staff as needed, while adhering to policies and regulations regarding safety. As Security Officers patrol Hawai‘i Pacific Health facilities, they are often the first to meet and greet our clients, which positions the community’s experience at our facility in a positive way. The Security team plays a vital role in creating a sense of safety and security throughout our hospitals, which is important to our patients and their families.
As the Security Supervisor, you will provide the leadership and oversight to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for our patients and staff at Straub by supervising the day-to-day operations of security personnel. We are looking for someone committed and experienced, with outstanding customer service and communication skills, strong attention to detail and protocol and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.

**Minimum Qualifications:** Associate’s degree or equivalent of education, training and experience. Two (2) years of hospital security experience. Current Hawaii Security Guard Registration (GDE) licensure.
**Preferred Qualifications:** Completion of an International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS) certification course.
