POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the OA/CTS Supervisor, this position is responsible for outreach, recruitment screening and arrival of eligible candidates enrolling in Job Corps at our Maui Center, in compliance with government and management directives.
Duties include, but not limited to:
+ Meet established arrival goals and quotas
+ Establish and maintain liaison with public service agencies, organizations, individuals and schools who might refer eligible candidates to the Job Corps program
+ Conduct outreach activities to include presentations, meeting with groups face to face contact with agency personnel, potential enrollees and parents, attendance at fairs and office sites.
+ Coordinate outreach assistance activities
+ Interview interested candidates and obtain pertinent information. Provide required information to each candidate
+ Arrange for pre-enrollment tours and orientation
+ Assist in community relations activities
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
+ Bachelor’s Degree or Associates Degree & 2 years related experience
+ One year experience in sales, marketing or counseling related services
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer proficiency required
+ Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
