**Role Summary/Purpose**
The Receiving Technician is responsible for initial receipt of wind turbine components as they arrive onsite, proper direction of material to lay-down area, and initial inspection for suitability for use
**Essential Function**
+ Monitor initial receiving of components at site
+ Dispatch material to different locations
+ Inspect components
+ Maintain records that fully reflect the inspections performed
+ Oversee offload activities
+ Provide detailed documentation of any damages caused prior to delivery
+ Verify that all components are compatible with each other
+ Manage and maintain inventory
+ Follow all assigned Environmental, Health and Safety procedures
+ Verify that the work is completed in compliance with customer’s requirements
+ Performs other duties as required and assigned
**Qualifications** **/Requirements**
+ Technical degree or diploma in Electrical or Mechanical discipline or
+ Equivalent of 2+ years’ experience in the field
+ Must have a valid driver’s license
+ Ability to travel up to 100% of time when on field assignment

+ Basic skills training to ensure knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of a praticular field of specialization.
