Job Summary:
HOUSEMAN - Principal responsibilities include to clean all checkout and check-in rooms; sweep or scrub the lanai’s. Clean “general-clean” rooms and “no show” rooms. Carpet shampoo and upholstery cleaning as needed. Follow procedures as outlined in the Housekeeping Procedures Manuel.
LINEN RUNNER - Principal responsibilities include pick up and deliver all linen and guest supplies. Follow procedures as outlined in the Housekeeping Procedures Binder.
Job Knowledge and Qualifications:
Ability to receive instructions and to communicate with guests, co-workers and supervisors. Customer service oriented. Understanding of Housekeeping operations is essential. Ability to maintain vacuum and carpet shampoo equipment is required. Ability to lift 50 pounds, regular lifting, reaching, crouching, carrying, pushing and pulling. Good (corrective) vision and hearing necessary. Must be able to work weekends and holidays. Willing to drive a golf cart. Valid state driver's license required.
