GENERAL, DESCRIPTION
The Gardener function is to maintain and keep the building and common elements in good repair, and to keep the physical appearance of the grounds and gardens clean and neat.
REPORTS TO
The Gardener worker will be under the direct supervision of the Resident Manager.
POSITION OBJECTIVE
To assist the Resident Manager/other Gardeners/ Landscapers in providing services for the gardening/ landscaping and maintenance of the property.
ESSENTIAL QUALITIES:
The following are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
Must be able to perform all duties as directed by the Resident Manager to include, but not be limited to Grass, Hedge, Tree trimming, sweeping, cleaning, watering and other gardening/ landscaping task. Must have an understanding and knowledge of a wide range of hand/power tools, equipment and supplies, and must be able to use equipment associated with general gardening and landscaping, such as: basic planting, weed removal, sprinkler plumbing repair knowledge, Use of lawn mower ,grass trimmer , leaf blower, power washer, and chainsaw, Water hoses, safety equipment. Must be able bodied and physically fit in order to accomplish all tasks noted on this Job Description and other task required by the property. Must be punctual in reporting to work, and dressed in a neat and groomed manner, as appropriate for the job. Good attendance is expected.Job Type: Full-time
