**job description**
**Position Objective**
The VMS Support Analyst I/II is responsible for troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with RCS MSP or other operating company clients where a VMS application is in place. This person will evaluate existing processes, and recommend alternative solutions throughout the customer life-cycle (post go-live) to meet customer specific requirements while ensuring efficiencies are realized during ongoing services and support. The VMS Support Analyst will also participate during the Solution Design phase of implementations by reviewing and recommending alternative solutions for those that deviate from current standards.
**Position Summary**
Troubleshooting
- Document customer requests and help determine feasibility of the request
- Partner with various teams to further research and resolve questions, issues, and test scenarios
Communication
- Provide support and VMS application expertise to various internal solutions operation and deployment teams
- Track, prioritize and communicate all internal & external product requests to VMS vendors
- Maintain expertise in VMS Products and supported applications and communicate effectively
System Enhancements & Process Improvement
- Escalating enhancement ideas to meet specific client needs and requirements. This includes but is not limited to process re-design, best practices and new feature deployment
- Assist with all VMS software upgrades and releases including testing existing functionality
- Review technical documents related to Randstad Back Office, RFO and other native applications
**Education**
- Bachelor's Degree highly preferred
**Work Experience**
- Up to 2 years of contingent management or service industry experience (up to 4 years II only)
- 1+ years post implementation support experience in MSP VMS vertical (II only)
- MSP, VMS, Fieldglass, IQ Navigator, project or release management a plus
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
- High service orientation with excellent follow-up to see solutions through
- Strong people skills; ability to communicate well with all levels of the organization
- Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize workload
- Able to work collaboratively both as a team players and leader to accomplish major new initiatives (II only)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-pace environment
- Working knowledge of MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Visio, etc.)
- Demonstrates critical thinking, analytical and problem solving abilities
**Additional Responsibilities of VMS Support Analyst II:**
- Enhance customer experience by defining, documenting, and maintaining workflow and feature standards as they relate to the VMS technology
- Evaluate existing processes and recommend alternative solutions throughout the customer life-cycle to meet customer specific requirements
- Evaluate testing results and incorporate into new processes and standards.
- Partner with training department to document and educate MSP teams on VMS application enhancements and new features
- Manage all VMS software upgrades and releases including evaluating and mapping new features and enhancements to existing customer deployments
