GDIT is seeking Instructional Developers in multiple levels to support a $100M+ US Navy program that provides full spectrum Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) technical support to the warfighter in the Continental United States (CONUS), Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS), and in hazardous areas. These critical C5ISR solutions will support a broad range of Department of Defense (DoD) and non-DoD customers, including joint forces commands and disaster recovery/first responders. In support of this program, GDIT will perform and provide computer systems engineering services to perform tasks in support of assigned Distance Learning (DL) related technologies and systems including Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Knowledge Management Systems (KMS) support.

Program tasking includes provisioning of infrastructure (hardware, software, and cloud services), infrastructure operational support, content development and training, software development, maintenance and enhancement, and some Help Desk support. The GDIT team will supply a full range of system capabilities to include all infrastructure and unique implementation elements. Additionally, the team will develop knowledge sharing strategies and techniques, and deploy various custom systems, that will support distance education and training content, and instructor led training.

Duties of the **Senior Instructional Coordinator** position may include:

- Develop instructional material, coordinate educational content, and incorporate current technology into instruction in order to provide guidelines to educators and instructors for developing curricula and conducting courses. May train and coach teachers. Includes educational consultants and specialists, and instructional material directors.

- Based on direction, work with clients to determine the learning need, the appropriate learning outcomes, and the most appropriate instructional methodologies based on adult learning theory.

- Identify design concepts that should demonstrate an advanced understanding of instructional design models and learning theory, be technically sound, and consider possible constraints such as resources and capabilities, and learning environment limitations.

- Identify information gaps and potential sources of information from which to obtain data to develop learning techniques.

- Design, develop, and deliver instructional materials for instructor and student use in approved formats such as visuals, handouts and reference guides.

- Document needs assessment findings to include recommendations to be used by the customer.

- Participate in the customer's Curriculum Review Board.

- A senior level person typically works on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently.

- A senior level person may oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.

Senior Instructional Coordinator

+ MS or Bachelor's degree plus four (4)years of additional work experience related to the applicable labor categories;required experience may be substituted for a Master's degree. Six (6) years of additional work experience related to the applicable labor categories; required experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree or Associate degree plus four (4) years of additional work experience related to theapplicable labor categories; required experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

+ Minimum of 10 years of experience in Instructional Coordination

+ Required skills in:- Develop instructional material, coordinate educational content, and incorporate current technology into instruction in order to provide guidelines to educators and instructors for developing curricula and conducting courses. - May train and coach teachers. Includes educational consultants and specialists, and instructional material directors.

+ Desired skills include: - Demonstrated experience in adult learning theories, methods, strategies, best practices, techniques, of instructional curriculum develop and evaluation to assist in the develop and delivery of lessons related to establish training goals.- Knowledge of the latest trends in education and how technology enables learning.- Must have Instructional Systems Design experience within the Intelligence Community.- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Creative Suite.- Work with clients to determine the learning need, the appropriate learning outcomes, and the most appropriate instructional methodologies based on adult learning theory.- Identify design concepts that should demonstrate an advanced understanding of instructional design models and learning theory, be technically sound, and consider possible constraints such as resources and capabilities, and learning environment limitations.- Identify information gaps and potential sources of information from which to obtain data to develop learning techniques.- Design, develop, and deliver instructional materials for instructor and student use in approved formats such as visuals, handouts and reference guides.- Document needs assessment findings to include recommendations to be used by the customer.- Participate in the customer's Curriculum Review Board.- Demonstrated innovative thinking and follow through- Demonstrated rapid response to customer requests- Experience in researching new/emerging technologies.

+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in Instructional Coordination
