As a Technical SME supporting a federal government customer, you will be trusted to** **support a software development and maintenance services team, which is evolving to an Agile environment. The team supports a C4ISR software suite and backend services that enable development and integration of external applications and data.
In this role, a typical day will include:
Scope of work includes requirements, design, implementation, testing, deployment, configuration management, information assurance, and maintenance. The Technical Subject Matter Expert will be experienced with C2PC and TSOA and provide insight into system architecture and functionality.
Provide the leadership team with expertise in C2PC and TSOA, including:
Functionality and constraints
Ability provide recommendations for achieving enhancement and modernization objectives
Support development of CDRLS to include but not limited to:
software requirements specification
software development plans
functional design descriptions
interface control documents
Apply expertise in C2PC, TSOA, and backend services environment in support of:
technical assistance and root cause analysis
cybersecurity compliance
software trouble reporting
software development
Develop technical reports and studies as directed by the Program Manager
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Recent (within three years) operational experience with USMC MAGTF C2 systems
Demonstrable experience with C2PC, to include knowledge of primary components and their function, as well as familiarity with modules, injectors, folders, and interfaces.
Demonstrable experience with TSOA, to include Service Oriented Infrastructure (SOI), Geospatial virtual machine (VM), connectors, and applications necessary to provide exchanges of information with external sources and with TSOA developed applications
Proficiency with USMC C2 environment and SOA platforms
Knowledge of, or history working, with PM C2S, PMM TSA&S, SSC Atlantic, SSC Pacific, PESG/TSOA PMO
Knowledge of Open Architecture principles
Must have a minimum of fully adjudicated DoD Secret clearance confirmed within JPAS
BS in Computer Science or a technical field preferred
Desired Qualifications:
Minimum six years operation experience working with USMC MAGTF C2 systems, whether in training or deployed environment
Experience with requirements development
Experience with Testing
Software Engineering
Familiarity with USMC, Joint, and Coalition Tactics Techniques and Procedures (TTPs) for C4I systems and the Information Exchange Requirements (IERs) between these systems
Familiarity with network administration
Familiarity with MS Windows and Linux operating systems administration
Familiarity with virtual machine administration
Familiarity with Microsoft's Active Template Library (ATL) Component Object Model (COM) for the application framework and injectors, Microsoft .Net
Familiarity with C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, and HTML/CSS
Familiarity with Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) operation and administration
Familiarity with XML and JSON data schema development
Familiarity with C4I Systems administration
