Supervisory Security Specialist - US Marine Corps (Hawaii)

Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY SECURITY SPECIALIST in the COMMAND SECURITY of MARINE FORCES PACIFIC. Responsibilities You will exercise the full range of supervisory and managerial responsibilities for DoD civilian personnel, active duty and reserve military personnel, and contractors assigned to the Command Security Branch. You will provide policy procedures, guidance, and assistance in all areas and issues concerning Information Security and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) to all levels of the organization. You will advises personnel and management on matters related to the security classification principles. You will conduct inspections and evaluate the effectiveness of the Information Security Program within the organization. You will assure policies, plans, directives, budgets, procedures, and other appropriate media required to plan and implement INFOSEC tasks and operating programs for the MARFORPAC mission. You will serves as the Program Manager and technical authority for all Industrial Security matters. You will serves as the Program Manager and technical authority for all Classified Material Control Center matters. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing technical guidance and advice on personnel security policies and procedures; developing and analyzing security regulations and policies for a personnel security program; AND promulgating personnel security program policy for a functional area of responsibility.
