The Experience Specialist is responsible to deliver a seamless, personalized guest experience. You will craft itineraries, collaborate with the Sensei Team, during the pre-arrival stage and throughout the guest stay. The Experience Specialist will be responsible for managing in-stay itinerary changes, daily guest requests, needs and concerns. You will provide insight and feedback based on information gathered through the different guest interactions. The Experience Specialists is knowledgeable of our guest's movement and communicates with other departments to ensure the correct coordination of our operational needs to deliver a superb program. You deliver on our Sensei Way by providing personalized recommendations to our guests based on their intention.
This position will integrate with the Sensei Guides on day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities
Establish and build rapport with all retreat guest through luxury service standards
Craft and personalize guest itineraries following the Sensei Way
Manage all guests' requests, ensure follow-up and completion of all needs
Manage daily inter-departmental communication to confirm all operational needs are informed and followed thorough to achieve a seamless execution of the daily bookings
Proficient on the Sensei Way, Retreats Programming and Weekly Activities Calendar
Responsible for the accurate delivery of all guest itineraries
Track daily arrival and departures times
Welcome and greet guests upon arrival
Anticipates guest needs and identifies opportunities for continual personalization of the guest itineraries.
Provide itinerary management which includes building itineraries and adjustments during pre-arrival and throughout the guest stay
Collaborate with key experience stakeholders to ensure a smooth pre-arrival process
Knowledgeable about staff schedule and practitioner's proficiencies in different modalities
Acting as point of contact for guests who need assistance or information regarding programs and services
Coordinate daily with Four Seasons Front Team, including scheduling of off property activities
Track Daily Guest Movement
Other work that may be assigned by Retreats Director
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Hospitality, Event Planning, Operations with an interest in health and wellness or comparable experience preferred.
Incredibly organized.
Preferably has experience working with Book4Time or booking systems.
Experience in computer, reservations and itinerary systems.
Relocation to the island of Lana'i, HI
Must be able to work varied shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Skills, Abilities, or Experience
Experience working in the medical and/or wellness industry at a front desk or control desk, reservations, call center or hotel concierge
Knowledge or certification in nutrition, fitness or massage modalities beneficial
