Job Summary:

Primary function is to create an energetic work environment to promote job performance and productivity with activity and sales generation as they relate to guests and owners. Guest satisfaction is the focal point of this department.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Participate, conduct and assist in weekly Island Orientations.

2. Activities Includes, but is not limited to, activity booking, reservations and issue tickets for a variety of island vendors.

3. Ensure that all Owners and guests attending a sales preview meets eligibility requirements to generate interest of sales at The Cliffs at Princeville. Maintain minimum performance standards for timeshare tour generation.

4. Proficiently utilize current activity booking software and other required systems for daily operations.

5. Responsible for making reservations at restaurants, courses, other services etc. for current and incoming guests.

6. Conduct pre-arrival call, build a rapport on guest's excitement and anticipation of the many activities on-site and off-site offered at our resort, sales tours, rental car and amenities offered.

7. Assist guests and owners in a polite, efficient and courteous manner by providing the Aloha experience that will enhance their stay at the Cliffs and on Kaua’i.

8. Required to attend a minimum amount of Activities quarterly to stay current on vendors and local events.

9. Assist with all required on-site events set by Concierge/Activities Manager.

10. Perform other tasks assigned by the Concierge/Activities Manager.

Job Knowledge and Qualifications:

Must have guest relations experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as telephone skills. Proficient in computers, including: Microsoft programs and resort systems. Must be able to read, write, follow and give instructions effectively. Must be knowledgeable about our Hawaiian Islands and culture. Be a proven “closer” utilizing successful sales experience in the timeshare industry. Must be flexible to schedule including weekends, holidays, mornings and evenings with a good attendance record.
