Summary
About the Position: This position is located with the 9 Mission Support Command, Theater Support Group (TSG) Army Reserve (AR) Installation Management (INST MGT) at Fort Shafter Flats, Hawaii.
Responsibilities
Participate in site evaluations and building inspections
Obtain leased facilities
Advise on all realty matters
Maintain databases of existing leases, properties, and land
Prepare and maintain realty contracts
Prepare for acquisitions and disposal of land
Process requests for changes in facility requirements
Review and verify real property data in HQIIS and RPLANS
Maintain all real property in General Fund Enterprise Business Systems (GFEBS) to meet the Commands mission and audit readiness
Manage all real property records
Manage the Real Property and Real Estate ISR-Services ratings
Conduct inventories and utilization surveys to ensure proper accounting of all 9th MSC real property assets
Develop and continuously refine the facilities support and engineering portions of all MOAs or MOUs between the MSC and other DOD organizations
Acquire Real Property for the MSC in accordance with AR 405-10 and AR 140-483
Initiate and manage all MSC real property requirements

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes assisting with property acquisition or disposal; preparing property documents; maintaining property inventory; and assisting with property or land inspections. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Real Estate Development, Real Estate Market Analysis, or Real Estate Law. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
