We are seeking a HVAC Fitter to join the Honeywell team in our Honolulu, HI area with experience servicing HVAC equipment: chillers (all types), pumps, air handlers, package units and building controls.
The main function of this position is to provide preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment under contract between Honeywell and building owners. You will also respond to emergency calls to resolve problems and provide technical support and troubleshooting on HVAC equipment and connected systems. Additional responsibilities related to the technical delivery of Small Service Jobs and extra service work will be assigned as opportunities arise. The job will require you to diagnose and perform repairs in a timely, effective manner. You will need to keep abreast of changes and new developments in product and preventive maintenance techniques. The job requires being on call at times so you must be availability to perform duties outside of normal working hours as required by the various contracts assigned to you as the service Fitter.
General Job Duties:
+ Perform simple and complex repairs on commercial/industrial HVAC equipment/systems
+ Schedule, and complete monthly pm work for assigned customers
+ Complete electronic work orders and time entry on a daily basis
+ Maintain, monitor, repair and conduct routine preventive maintenance for the heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems and equipment to ensure the safe and efficient operation of HVAC equipment
+ Conduct all scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance including replacing mechanical seals, re-packing pumps and valves, replacing bearings and belts, checking for proper alignment, repairing HVAC units, brazing and soldering, calibrating controls, working on pressure vessels, replacing piping and fittings etc. as required
+ Maintain accurate records and documentation of maintenance and repairs
+ Ability to lift 50 pounds
YOU MUST HAVE
+ High school diploma/GED
+ Member of the UA
+ Valid driver’s license
+ Universal CFC card
