Job Responsibilities:
Trace Systems is actively recruiting for a Virtualization Engineer III to join our team based in Honolulu, Hawaii. This critical role will manage all areas of Army networks projects. The ideal candidate will support virtualization engineering system requirements.
Duties and responsibilities include:
+ Install, configure, and support an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems or a segment of a network system in the areas of Virtualization Engineering and administration to include VDI, storage and capacity and disaster recovery.
+ Support the sustainment of modernization projects for known capability areas including: AV/VTC, MPE, KM, Cybersecurity, and LCM/LCS of installed C2F equipment.
Minimum Qualifications:
+ A minimum of eight (8) years of experience supporting applications in a VDI infrastructure
+ A minimum of five (5) years working with DoD IA policy and guidelines and applying their implications on network architecture design and configuration.
+ Experience with Windows 2012 and above, Windows 10 in a VDI environment.
+ Position requires a current DoD 8570IAT II certification
+ Position requires a current Computing Environment Commercial Certification, active VCP or higher
+ Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance is required
+ Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship required.
Education:
+ A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required
