ASSOCIATE - BILLING & COLLECTIONS
What You Will Do:
Billing & Collections
Responsible for billing and collection of premium.
Researches billing disputes, reconcile accounts, provide payment history as needed and respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner.
Handles both external and internal customer service inquiries daily and provide excellent customer service.
Communicates any customer service issues to Manager.
Processes credit card payments.
Follows established procedures for processing receipts, cancellations and reinstatements.
Assists with creating and mailing of the legal cancellation and reinstatement notice.
Monitors the customer service mailbox daily and respond to inquiries timely.
Completes monthly download of cancellation/reinstatement information from Oden for use in completing the monthly management report.
Provides administrative and general clerical support to ensure efficient operation of the department.
Provide numbers/data/stats as needed by Manager for weekly/monthly metrics package.
Cash Receipt Processing and Posting
Balances cash daily.
Researches check application and enter details in the billing system.
Completes the daily cash tracking log.
Processes cash corrections and intercompany transfers.
Completes disbursement processing on a weekly basis.
Processes direct checks.
Runs and distributes month end reports.
What YOU Will Bring to C&F:
Proven ability and aptitude with the Microsoft Office suite of programs (Word, Excel and Outlook).
