Full Job Description
STI has an immediate opening for a Low Voltage Technician in Princeville, HI. This position will be responsible for the installation of air conditioning components. The Low Voltage Technician should be able to work independently and demonstrate a proactive, problem-solving attitude. Job duties include:
Installation of controller systems
Prewire of low voltage cabling
Termination of low voltage cabling (cat5/6)
Installation, Setup, and Troubleshooting of Controller System and IP Networks
Installation of structured cabling systems.
Read and interpret floorplans, architectural drawings, and schematics
Programming control systems.
Perform system testing and troubleshooting as required.
Update project documentation as needed and keep the manager informed of project status
Low Voltage Technician Requirements:
High School Diploma / GED
Must be able to work in tight attic spaces.
Work Monday thru Friday with possible overtime
Able to work independently within a team
Clean driving record Job Title Preferred Skills:
2-3 years experience with low voltage systems
