Joint Fires Targeting Subject Matter Expert - SAIC (Hawaii)
**Description**
**JOB DESCRIPTION:**
+ Provide expertise in analyzing all aspects of the strategic targeting process, to include policy, strategic target selection procedures, and targeting guidance for the employment of operational forces
+ Analyze current targeting and joint fires processes, then develop recommended innovative approaches for TTPs, to optimize efficiency, speed and effectiveness
+ Assist in analyzing all aspects of the strategic targeting process, to include policy, strategic target selection procedures, and targeting guidance for the employment of operational forces
+ Support operational planning by conducting research to identify and integrate lethal and non- lethal fires into the USINDOPACOM targeting process
+ Evaluate current operations plans, to identify and make recommendations regarding the mitigation of capability gaps, considering operational performance metrics
**Qualifications**
**TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:**
+ Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.
**CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:**
+ Clearance Level Must Currently Possess: Top Secret (TS)
+ Clearance Level To Obtain: TS/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
**REQUIRED EDUCATION AND SKILLS:**
+ Bachelors (B.S or B.A) Degree
+ Six years of DoD experience developing, editing, evaluating, and managing technical documentation, to include DoD program material and doctrine
**DESIRED EDUCATION AND SKILLS:**
+ Master's Degree
+ Serve as the primary technical manager for testing and assessment in the areas of: - PLANNING AND ANALYSIS SUPPORT - INNOVATION DEVELOPMENT AND TESTING
+ Ten years of progressively complex experience in DoD planning or doctrine related roles
+ Five years of experience working in the DoD Joint Fires functional area
