Responsibilities:

* Identify, research and analyze relevant federal, state and local requirements and translate the requirements into alternative business solutions

* Draft proprietary content and business rules for implementation into various products, advise development staff on legal, compliance, business and transactional requirements as it relates to the implementation of content into various software applications

* Develop and execute compliance and integration tests, assess legal and business risks and identify risk mitigation options

* Counsel and advise the business units, management and functional areas regarding opportunities and creative solutions arising from changes in laws or financial services industry

* Participate in research, analysis and requirements for new product development

Qualifications:

* A minimum of five years of experience in origination of commercial loans or a minimum of two years of legal experience as an attorney in commercial lending

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; Master's degree and/or Juris Doctorate from an accredited college or university preferred

* Significant transactional experience involving a high degree of responsibility and independence

* Ability to lead complex and diverse projects and to attain the desired results effectively

* Strong communication skills with the ability to write articles for compliance publications
