Job Summary Our ever-growing clinic is seeking an exceptional and responsible individual to join our team as a FULL-TIME Veterinary Receptionist in Makawao. Our ideal candidate must be outgoing, friendly and ready to greet our clients and patients with a warm smile and plenty of Aloha! You must have at least 2 years of customer service experience. Prior experience in animal care is preferred but not required. All team members are cross-trained for other positions as needed. Must be able to work Monday-Friday, weekends and holidays. Candidates must be able to provide compassionate and efficient customer service as the first client contact. Some job duties include assisting clients in person and on the phone as well as scheduling appointments. This position requires a special individual capable of multi-tasking in stressful situations while maintaining a calm and welcoming demeanor. Because we cross-train all our staff for other positions as needed , you will be required to provide hands-on veterinary care by assisting doctors during exams & medical procedures, communicating patient issues with clients and using our state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment.
