Sr. Accountant - Robert Half Finance & Accounting (Hawaii)
Robert Half Finance is looking for a Senior Accountant for a full-time opportunity. As a Senior Accountant, your responsibilities will include financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Major responsibilities as a Senior Accountant - Ensure corporate accounting policies, procedures, and controls are followed when working with business partners and be able to provide support on special requests - Provide monthly accounting closure procedures and deliverables primarily in the compensation area, which includes journal entries, reconciliations, reports - Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and SOX testing with internal and external auditors - Commitment to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process - Administer Ad-hoc projects as necessary - Engage in various department-wide initiatives - Present Balance Sheet account reconciliations - Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks) - Assemble monthly consolidated P L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
